<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">The ongoing PlanSpokane 2046 Periodic Update is the first substantial update to the Comprehensive Plan since 2001, providing the City of Spokane the opportunity to reevaluate the vision of this important document. The vision sets the stage for the future that the Comprehensive Plan&rsquo;s policies and goals work towards. Since the last periodic update, which occurred in 2017, state law has added additional considerations especially around Climate Planning and Planning for Housing for all income levels that need to be added to the City&rsquo;s plan.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Due in June 2026, the periodic update will identify policies and future regulations to guide the next 20 years of our city.
